This place rocks! It's the kind of bar where Jimmy Buffett would frequent and sing about. Not fancy but fun. Great drinks, the food is fabulous!! One of the best Philly cheese steaks I have ever eaten. My husband is drooling driving down from SC thinking about that wonderful Sandwich. The hotel is old but clean and all the employees are very friendly. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beach, pool and tiki bar. Great place.

Almost went with five stars because as someone in another review said, it's the best dive bar in NSB. Yes, it's a dive in some ways but they have quick service, lots (and lots) of tasty beach-bar drinks, wonderful people-watching opportunities, and absolutely some solid food. Not to mention the lovely beach RIGHT THERE. This last visit, we got peel and eat shrimp and they were KILLER. So very tasty. We decided to go to another place, more upscale, and try their p&e shrimp to compare and these here won out hands down. Every trip to NSB will now include a trip to drink AND eat there.

Best Dive Bar in NSB - this place is a rare rare find but it ain't pretty, the furniture is a little on the shabby side, the paints peeling a little from the sea breeze blowing in and you can taste the salt on the rim of your beer can. I found my seat on a crooked stool on the pool side of the Tiki Hut, the drink specials are taped and stapled on the grime covered walls and the weather beaten post that hold up this shack, now that's real character in a beach town dive bar. They say the service ain't that good, I say bully, this is next level so check your pretentiousness at the gate cause these are some friendly folk and there ain't no door - the kitchen staff is killing it and the bartender is cute and efficient and she pours a stout rum runner for eight bucks so get ready to get your buzz on. Whether you choose a stool at the bar or a seat on the deck the forty year old speakers are thumping and the island vibe is contagious so get lost in that rock and roll or the reggae beat. The space is totally inviting and the sofa yeah the sofa is so so 70's I don't know but I'm just saying it's like smokin' indo and sippin on gin and juice, laid back and sinkin down in da couch baby. If you feel like a day at the beach I gotta tell you only being close to the beach ain't that bad either, so take off the flip flops and take the steps down to the sand and no body's gonna care if you leave your bikini wraps by the pool ladies it's all good here - I love this bar...
